Final Season Meeting & Parade Details

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin at 2:58 pm on Friday, June 15, 2007

Last night we had our final pack meeting for the season. It was obvious that our spring roundup was a great success. Last night we had about 8-10 new boys come out to register for our Pack! Next year is definitely going to be an exciting year for all. As a craft we made custom neckslides to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Borough of Kenilworth, the perfect uniform accompaniment to wear with your uniform for the parade on Saturday.
If you are planning to march in the Kenilworth Centennial parade on Saturday the 16th please arrive at the starting area (Lenape Park – aka the old shooting range) between 11 and 11:30 am. There will be shuttle buses running from St. Theresa’s parking lot between 10am and 12pm. The parade will be starting approximately 12pm.

A very special thank you to the Knights of Columbus who donated the funds for two new parade flag poles for Pack 83. Sir Knight Michael Relovsky presented the check to Cubmaster Doug Metz at the Spring Roundup meeting on June 4th. The donation was specifically from the Knights of Columbus John F. Kennedy Assembly 666 whose core focus is Charity, Unity, Fraternalism and Patriotism.
